Daylight Savings Time Ends - Fall Back (U.S.)

It's time to "fall back" and set your clocks back by one hour.

While you’ll gain an extra hour of sleep, the days will get shorter as we head into the cooler months. Stay in sync with our Daylight Savings Time Calendar for automatic reminders. Don’t forget to adjust your schedule as the evenings grow darker earlier.

Enjoy the cozy feeling of extra evening time, but remember, it's time to set your clocks back!

Fun Fact:

Did you know, Benjamin Franklin was half-joking when he made the first suggestion for Daylight Savings Time? Over a century before Daylight Savings Time became popularized and adopted by any major country, Benjamin Franklin proposed a concept similar to Daylight Savings Time in his satirical essay in 1784. The credit for Daylight Savings Time however, typically goes to George Vernon Hudson, a New Zealand artist, who first seriously proposed the idea in his 1895 paper.
